Techniques for maintaining Caffeine effectiveness?

I've been cold turkey from caffeine for about 2 weeks now. I was ingesting around 800mg daily prior. This was just to feel normal too.
I felt a caffeine buzz today after just a cup of black tea and it feels amazing.
Do you have any techniques for maintaining caffeine effectiveness? Once every 2 days? Once a week? etc.
Thanks!

Don't worry, you are not alone for caffeine withdrawal being nearly nonexistent.
I do wonder why your dosage was is so high though, I was under the impression that a fairly safe, daily dose of caffeine is in the 400mg range. Do you not have side effects like high blood pressure from going into the 800mg/day range?
Edit:
Based on the data reviewed, it is concluded that for the healthy adult population, moderate daily caffeine intake at a dose level up to 400 mg day(-1) (equivalent to 6 mg kg(-1) body weight day(-1) in a 65-kg person) is not associated with adverse effects such as general toxicity, cardiovascular effects, effects on bone status and calcium balance (with consumption of adequate calcium), changes in adult behaviour, increased incidence of cancer and effects on male fertility.

Ohh, I don't use 800mg/day normally. I can go that high without issue. However, I usually stick to around 400mg/day.
