Many of you may remember the issue that came up with Cerebral Health/Bioscience Nutraceuticals a few months ago, where their choline bitartrate was numbing people's mouths. After sending those samples in to the lab, the tests came back negative for choline bitartrate. We suspected it was choline salacylate, but decided further testing to ascertain the exact compound would not be worth the cost. Unfortunately that was not the last issue to come from Cerebral Health.
A few weeks ago, another Redditor placed an order pyritinol from CH, along with some alpha GPC and oxiracetam. When the order arrived, both the alpha GPC and oxiracetam seemed alright. However, the pyritinol seemed off. Before thinking about it, he took his normal 400mg dose of pyritinol and went out for a mountain bike ride. Within 15-20 minutes he was getting a weird euphoria and detachment. After another couple minutes, his memory gets very fuzzy.
Eventually his sister found him in the garage in a manic/psychotic state. He was biting his lips very hard, shaking, and holding his fists tight. Eventually he went into seizures when the paramedics came. He was taken to the hospital and seized again while waiting for th…

while i think its a good thing that issues like these are being brought to attention, please dont jump to conclusions on the substance in question.
it is completely unknown what substances are involved and theres a wide range of pharmaceuticals that could induce overstimulation and manic episodes, especially if overdosed.
the fact that we have to deal with this situation now however shows that somewhere down the chain somebody thinks its appropiate to sell random powers as a specific "nootropic" substance.
which in return leaves me with the impression that the shop owners either knew about it all along or simply didnt care enough to ensure a clean product. even worse, they couldnt even ensure that theyre providing the product at all.
judging by the fact that reports like this happened before, it seems like cerebral health is either a very careless seller or a shady fraud (which makes little difference for their customers).

I always state that any postulation about the specific substance is not verified until we get the full results. However, given all the physical properties of the powder, and the effects that it induced, there are only so many things out there that it could be. Very few substances cause euphoria, disassociation, seizures, and nystagmus where the eyes roll around in a circular motion. Also, the crazed look that one gets on high doses of cathinone derivatives is very unique as well.
Nothing is proven until it's proven. However, I highly suspect it is some cathinone derivative.
