A Montana man is facing life in federal prison for growing marijuana in compliance with Montana's medical marijuana law --"While Jerry Sandusky got a 30-year minimum sentence for raping young boys, Mr. Williams is looking at a mandatory minimum of more than 80 years for marijuana . . ."

Yes. Mail fraud is a felony and if you are convicted of it, you will not be permitted to own a firearm unless you petition a judge ten years later to have your firearm rights restored (the ten year thing is not the same in each state, some states allow you to petition for your firearm rights back much earlier, granted you've been a good boy since your conviction).
However, possession of a firearm will probably not aggravate a mail fraud charge, but I am not a lawyer.

Yeah, I knew you lost your rights to own a gun after being convicted of a felony. I just never knew you could be charged with possession during a felony, even if the gun had nothing to do with the crime. Thanks for the info.
