Replying to gnosticismschism · I don't think brands are ignorant I just think they don't care. Like the NMN subreddit [claims ND NMN is "dangerous"](https://old.reddit.com/r/NMN/comments/13jfm4j/nmn_best_supplem…
/r/NMN is full of Renue shills. They tried to shill here with a bunch of their fake accounts, but we caught and banned them. I reported them to the Reddit admins, and many of them had the accounts suspended. Then suddenly there are these "totally not shill" accounts on the "total…
NMN + Erinamax = Why did I get a massive energy boost from both?
Replying to iAmCrimm · Favorite MAO's? I'm ++ MAO-A
Quercetin, specifically in the Quercefit phytosome form. That inhibits MAO-A activity. Then I would take glutathione with it, to protect the nervous system from oxidative stress associated with MAO-A activity
NMN + Erinamax = Why did I get a massive energy boost from both?
Replying to Warm_Ad_6177 · This more or less always happens to me with NMN or OptiNAD regardless of what’s in my stack, I’ve dabbled off and on since you released them and my daily drivers have changed a lot…
The hesperidin and black ginger are the ones that affect it with me. Both increase AMPK activity, which is the mechanism I have most narrowed it down to.
NMN + Erinamax = Why did I get a massive energy boost from both?
Replying to Warm_Ad_6177 · I have no big insight here, but I do notice that when I lay off NMN for a while then restart it’s really stimulating, which diminishes after a day or two. Maybe chewing up accumula…
What else is in your stack? That's usually the variable that affects it.
NMN + Erinamax = Why did I get a massive energy boost from both?
Replying to GorillaMindSmooth · It's the enteric-coated tablets of nicotinamide. It's weird because I never noticed necessarily an energy boost from it, but today this happened!
Yep, the enteric coated ones are the strongest. Also, they are not stimulating on their own. It's usually dependent on other stuff in your stack. It's just our enteric NMN delivers a lot more through the Slc12a8 transporter, so you get more rapid increases in NAD+ production. Pai…
NMN + Erinamax = Why did I get a massive energy boost from both?
Which version of our NMN? Many people find it can be very stimulating for them, especially the enteric coated tablets. I have to be careful with them myself, because I usually have a very stimulating stack, and sometimes adding in enteric NMN pushes me to too energetic.
My top 10 takeaways from Rhonda Patrick's new episode about NAD precursor supplements (NR vs. NMN)
Replying to Warren_sl · I don’t know if they’re using CellG8 anymore they removed all references to them. I think the gel was always a different manufacturer but I’m unsure who. Maybe EffePharm?
Could be. I'd have to get another sample from them and test again. Whatever it was a year and a half ago was not a liposome. I've been pretty vocal about calling that out, so maybe people have finally switched suppliers to a real one. I didn't end up buying the Nanosight. We just…

Replying to Warren_sl · Please offer the liposomal NMN/NR as a lozenge or powder. The lipo NMN gel from Renue by science gives the most sustained and fast rush of every I’ve had from any NAD product secon…
I believe Renue was using CellG8 as the supplier, which we tested in the lab using the Malvern Nanosight system. We found not only was it not a liposome, it wouldn't even get into solution to properly inject into the machine. We dissolved what we could, which was like 1/4 of the…

Replying to Warren_sl · Haha. For what it’s worth I’ve taken up to 500mg of NMNH in a single dose and I didn’t think it was worth the cost over NMN taken orally. I wonder if it would be much better subli…
Yeah, that was my read as well. I am considering doing a liposomal NMN, as we did finally find someone making it for real, and doing proper cryoTEM and pharmacokinetic studies. My fight over liposomes wasn't that they were bullshit in theory. It's that nobody was even doing testi…

My top 10 takeaways from Rhonda Patrick's new episode about NAD precursor supplements (NR vs. NMN)
Replying to JustAboutUpToSpeed · Any chance of NRH/NMNH from ND?
Potentially, but the costs are too high for now. We've been able to get both for many years, but the cost is insane. The increase in bioavailability/efficacy is real, but not if the cost is 10X.

Replying to Fragrant-Corner7471 · Are you still taking NR?
Yes, along with NMN and NADH. I am taking our OptiNAD+ stack, which has them all in it, along with other supporting supplements, like CD38 inhibitors.
My top 10 takeaways from Rhonda Patrick's new episode about NAD precursor supplements (NR vs. NMN)
Replying to RarageInTheGarage · NMN is a fundamental biomolecule. Wasn't David Sinclair trying to get NR "regulated" as well, a while back?
That's correct. Tru Niagen patented nicotinamide riboside... which is a natural endogenous compound found in everyone's bodies and in multiple food sources. They tried to say they were the ones that "discovered" it, and that nobody else was allowed to sell it. For a while they su…

There is a lot of BS around the ND vs NMN stuff right now, and a ton of propaganda from Tru Niagen. In fact, they are trying to get NMN banned again. [Bioscience Company Sues FDA Over Dietary Supplement Reversal](https://news.bloomberglaw.com/health-law-and-business/tktk-7) They…
Curious on y'alls thoughts on this. I spoke to a ayurveda person (ayurveda is where Ashwagandha and Bacopa come from) and he was like for thousands of years we put the herbs into food and ate it long-term and not made extracts out of it. Should we have skepticism over extracts with this logic maybe?

I am promoting modern *science*, not modern *medicine*. I agree that the pharmaceutical industry has largely failed everyone, and so have many doctors, to be honest. It's about profit over health most of the time. Even the doctors that are not in it for the money are part of a sy…

That place doesn't do any lab testing for TND1128. They also claim liposomal nano delivery system, but then show no other ingredients and state no additives. Total horseshit. They also say they do third party lab testing, but there are only 4 actual COAs on their entire site. htt…

TND1128 isn't 5-deazaflavin. It's a derivative of it, but they are different things. Who are you buying it from? TND1128 is actually supposed to be 3-methyl-10-ethy-deazaflavin.

Reduced glutathione is good if you take it daily, but it has low bioavailability, so it has to build up over time. S-acetyl and S-phenylacetyl are much more acute. I actually combine them all daily. That's a big overkill. You could just take S-acetyl if you wanted. However, the p…
Alcohol Question - Supplements to Prevent the Damage?

Yes, we added TMG to account for that effect that NMN can cause. If your homocysteine is still high without NMN, then you are likely an undermethylator, and would benefit from some supplements to address it. Methylcobalamin is a good idea. We have Super B12, or you can take Infin…

Yep, that's right. It depends on your gene mutations around methylation. Some people are poor methylators, and need a more comprehensive stack to address it.
What’s new with NMN?
If you loved the effects of NMN, you should just go back to that, or our OptiNAD+. We put in trimethylglycine in that formula to account for the homocysteine issue. You could also add in reduced glutathione or S-acetyl glutathione in as well.
