Alcohol Question - Supplements to Prevent the Damage?

I’m looking for a stack to take \before\ drinking to mitigate its damaging effects as much as possible (even at the cost of feeling a buzz). I respect the experience/opinions of this community so I’m looking for insights here.
Let’s just say you \have\ to drink at an occasion, what are the best supplements to take ahead of time?
I’m aware of ND’s Alcohol Defense, but under its Suggested Use it says:
\”DO NOT take Alcohol Defense before drinking, or it may interfere with your ability to feel the effects of alcohol.”\
Does that mean if it’s taken before, it will aid with preventing the damage?
I’m familiar with things like NAC - are there other supplements along a similar vein that anyone here would recommend?

We tell people to not take Alcohol Defense before drinking for the sole reason that we don't want it to dampen people's response to alcohol's effect, making them drink more than they normally would. It's safe to take before drinking. However, we have found that people that do take Alcohol Defense before drinking tend to try to counteract the dampened effects by just drinking more. That's kind of against the point of the stack. I usually tell people to take some N-acetylcysteine/glutathione/S-acetyl glutathione before drinking mixed with some Infinilyte and water, then Alcohol Defense after drinking. Customers have also found that our Immune Defense is a really good stack to stop hangovers, so I often take that before drinking now as well. Also, NMN/nicotinamide riboside is a good one to take when drinking as well.
