I am took 250mg Nootropics Depot PrimaVie Shilajit for 3 days. My mood is fluctuating from frustration to sad to frustration. Is this expected due to little bit of boost from increase in testosterone or is this sign of heavy metals?

I’m having symptoms of heavy metal poisoning and have for weeks. I had been taking shilajit from nd 5x/week for maybe a month leading up to it. My symptoms are major brain fog, and just being out of it, and feeling generally unwell, and cloudy red eyes often too. Symptoms started 3-4 weeks ago, and haven’t taken shilajit since. Was taking their tongkat Ali also, now just take it maybe 0-2 times a week. ND seems like a very high quality company and I have a lot of respect for them. But I can’t see any other source of those symptoms. Still actively searching and scheduled a doctor appointment.
Also goes to say that my symptoms and yours don’t match, and having fluctuating mood may be a result of your body being overly energized like hypomania

Those are not symptoms of heavy metals poisoning. Also, all our products meet the strictest Prop 65 limits, which is 1,000 times less than the amount it would take to cause issues. It sounds like you caught a sickness. Shit has been going around like crazy this year, and it is taking a while for people to get back to normal. Both COVID and RSV are going around, but also flu and others as well. You also mentioned that you dropped your Welbutrin dose. That is likely part of it. Heavy metals poisoning is extremely rare in the US, and is mostly seen in workplace exposures to very high amounts, or in contaminated drinking water.
