Why not capules all the time

Products like kava and cistanche are not encapsulated and have a rough texture which makes them difficult to swallow.
It seems like they're made this way to be chewed, but they don't taste good and stick to teeth.

We originally had them as tablets, but people complained about the taste, so we moved to capsules. Then people complained they liked the tablets better, so we can't win! LOL.
That's funny though i don't understand the taste complaints. Were people sucking on those tablets like it was candy or something?

You'd be surprised. I don't think people realize just how many stupid things we deal with in a month. Some people chew the tablets and then complain. Some people take powders like berberine or milk thistle and put them into smoothies, then complain it tastes like ass. Some people say they can't consume anything where alcohol was used in the process at any point, so they want to know the whole production process. Some of the support emails we get are nuts.
