Microcrystalline Cellulose

How is the microcrystalline cellulose Sourced in these products?
Why is it necessary to include microcrystalline cellulose as a filler?
Is microcrystalline cellulose in all products from nootropicsdepot.com?
I found the following about microcrystalline cellulose:
"Our cells cannot stop the micro-nano particles from entering them, and once there, these particles, especially from cellulose from wood, which is what Microcrystalline Cellulose comes from, are not able to be absorbed, but float in and out of the cell membranes, and basically clog up tiny places in our bodies, bio-accumulating as we ingest more, and cause background inflammation to rise."

Otherwise it appears to be considered safe for the most part when I search Google. The quoted text in this post raises some concern, so I am inquiring for more knowledge.

The most decent reads you can find on the matter:

This was enough for me to avoid any products that have anything ending in -ose as well as anything that is sprayed with silicon dioxide.
However, I am with you on magnesium stearate.Perfectly safe and more logical since its just magnesium and fat. But opening a capsule that has a fully dissolvable powder in water that the capsule just contains gelatin and mag stearate, still you see the powder clumping in water. Anyway still we know that's safe.
But things like MCC , tanium/silicon dioxide and the rest I feel there is too much smoke for even a small fire to not be present. Overall I know currently it is up to a hardcore's nano biochemist understanding to advice whether it is harmful or not but talking to a normal chemist who is a professor he said we don't know anything about how nanoparticles affect our biology yet since nanotechnology in our bodies can have as complex effects as quantum physics. From the complexity alone it wouldn't make sense that these particles can work with our body's matrix like normal minerals.
So even if there is no clear consensus yet, we are still professionals and we know what we w…

This is for nanocrystals, which are much smaller than MCC. They are also looking mostly at inhalation. Because the cellulose nanoparticles don't absorb, if you breath them into your lungs it causes problems. They even say this in the conclusions.
Current studies of the oral and dermal toxicity of CNCs have shown a lack of adverse health effects.
That's for nano, too. MCC has even more safety studies behind it, and has been looked at multiple times by the EFSA and approved as safe.

This is also for nano. Most of the perceived risk is for inhalation as well, like concrete dust or asbestos.

Also nanocrystals. The same goes for SiO2. The risk that the EFSA brought up there is from nanoparticles, not the normal macro particles used. As I said, many brands just lie and say they don't use it, but it is in there. You can ICP-MS the products and test for SiO2 and total silicon content. Other brands have started to use NuMag to get away from magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. NuMag is also listed as rice hull extract on some labels. What is in NuMag? Magnesium, stearic acid, and silicon dioxide... It's just naturally found in the rice hulls, so you can hide the fact that it's the same thing being put in. It just tricks consumers.
I wish there were more capsulated products with just that or eventually maybe we will experience the transition to more common excipients like rice flour/ inulin / mag stearate or even baking soda or anything that we know could be used by the body as well even if it has the tiniest benefit instead of the devils we know less about and i would write all of these if i didnt know there are a million manics like me out there:)
All our capsules are made of cellulose, so using MCC made the most sense. Also, we used to use rice flour in some scenarios, but people complained because of the calories. MCC also just works the best for the dissolution of the actives in the formula, along with flowability on the machines. People like to call these ingredients as useless and unneeded, but they perform a real function in the process.
