Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you know that we have Tongkat Ali 10% tablets back up. As many of you know, we initially launched the 10% Tongkat in tablet form. However, many people complained about the strong taste, so we moved to capsules instead. As I probably should have known would happen, then we had some people saying that they thought the old tablets felt stronger. It was the same Tongkat at the same dose, but some people swore they felt it less. I didn't want to write people's anecdotes off, so we did some testing. Activation of the bitterness receptors in the mouth has been shown to affect the efficacy of certain substances. Putting them into capsules removed that bitterness receptor activation that was happening in people's mouths, so we decided to just give people the choice for which one they prefer. Now you can choose the Tongkat 10% in capsule or tablet form. Hell, you can even suck on them like horribly bitter tasting lozenges if you like! Go to town!

In addition to that, I wanted to let people know that we have fully transitioned all our milk thistle products to a low silychristin extract. Back in 2021, a Redditor brought up some interesting research that we didn't know about.

It appears that a common active in milk thistle called silychristin inhibited thyroid function. After doing more testing, we discovered that this compound was a major part of the total silymarin content of all the milk thistle products on the market. Since I know a lot of people taking milk thistle are using it to help with liver function during workout/lifting cycles, that thyroid inhibition isn't ideal. This is also true for our berberine/silymarin product. Many people are using berberine for the metabolic enhancing properties, and would prefer to not have a compound in there that is counteracting some of that effect through thyroid inhibition. It took us a little bit, but we were able to develop a milk thistle extract that removes the silychristin. We have officially transitioned all our products that use milk thistle over to this new low silychristin extract.

As always, thank you for your feedback over the years. Having this community where we can get honest feedback from customers like you, and have interesting research shared with us, allows us to continually improve our products and develop new ones. It's fairly unique for a brand to have this level of open back and forth with customers that are passionate about the science and product quality. There is so much interesting science out there that it is impossible for us to find it all on our own sometimes. We always value the information provided by you all here on our subreddit, so thank you!
