Kohort study show large increase in hip fracture when high intake of b6 and b12!

I had this as a separate post but it was deleted by mods;

I'm taking a methylated b-complex with fairly high doses, and after reading up on b6 in anticipation of the new product release, I stumbled upon this. Most of us supplementing with a decent multi are easily over these levels.

Any thoughts? I was looking to bump my b6 to 75mg/day, with NDs new release but now I'm unsure.

We didn't manually delete it. It was caught by the automod.

I just read that study, and I am leaning towards it being meaningless. Look at the actual data. The people using higher doses of B12 and B6 had more physical activity, which could absolutely be correlated with more hip fractures. They had higher use of postmenopausal hormone therapies, which can absolutely affect bone mineralization. They had higher use of oral corticosteroids, which cause bone loss. Their calcium intake was VERY different, which would have more of an effect on bone fractures than B6 of B12 would. Higher calcium supplement intake can actually have adverse effects on bone health, especially when combined with corticosteroids. The fact that these glaring confounding variables were not accounted for makes these findings meaningless.
