Okay, so I am finally getting around to make a post about the results of some of the lab testing we have been doing. I've had the results for a bit, but I've been holding off on officially releasing them because frankly it stresses me out these days. It's the same song and dance every time, and it is one I have been doing for a decade now. I release results showing other products are not what they claim, then people attack me and claim I am lying to sell more product. Sometimes the attacks are relatively harmless, and just raise my blood pressure a bit for a day or two. Other times they are death threats to me, my family, and my team. It's not fun sometimes. You'll notice I don't do this nearly as much as I did back in the day on /r/Nootropics. I was younger and more gung-ho then, and had a lot less on my plate. Plus, my family and team kind of pleaded with me to stop doing it so much because of all the attacks and threats. This is why I have not been releasing things like this as much these days. It's not because product quality magically got better in the industry, I can tell you that much! Anyway, let's just get into it.
I woke up this morning ready to jump right into this pos…

We are reaching out to their ISO accreditation body to talk with them about it. We don't think they should be allowed to put those shitty input numbers on a COA with their ISO accreditation number that doesn't contain that in the scope. It makes people think those numbers are legit, when they are not. The same goes for ABC Testing. Look at their ISO cert. Not a single botanical assay on there. Not even botanical ID on their scope... Their scope only has vitamin testing, residual solvent testing, heavy metals testing, and microbiological. However, they are posting ID and assay results from botanical, when they were not even assessed for proficiency there.
We got one of the highest additions to our ISO scope. Normally you have to put each botanical you can test on your scope. That's what we did for our first ISO certification. However, when we got re-certified we went through the process with them of proving our systems and processes were so robust that we could have a flexible scope on our ISO cert. So now we have a flexible scope for botanical identification on our ISO scope, meaning we are certified to be able to go out and identify any botanical out there and have it be within our scope! The only other lab I know of that has that is Alkemist Labs. For our next recertification, we are going to expand our scope even further! A lot of people don't know that about ISO certification. It's scope based. You can get ISO certified to test heavy metals and nothing else. Then you can go out and test whatever you want and say you are ISO certified. However, that doesn't mean it is on your scope for the cert. I see a lot of labs doing that. Labs with no botanical ID or assays on their ISO scope going out and testing botanicals just makes no sense to me. If they were doing things to a robust enough level, they would put that on their scope!
