Okay, so I am finally getting around to make a post about the results of some of the lab testing we have been doing. I've had the results for a bit, but I've been holding off on officially releasing them because frankly it stresses me out these days. It's the same song and dance every time, and it is one I have been doing for a decade now. I release results showing other products are not what they claim, then people attack me and claim I am lying to sell more product. Sometimes the attacks are relatively harmless, and just raise my blood pressure a bit for a day or two. Other times they are death threats to me, my family, and my team. It's not fun sometimes. You'll notice I don't do this nearly as much as I did back in the day on /r/Nootropics. I was younger and more gung-ho then, and had a lot less on my plate. Plus, my family and team kind of pleaded with me to stop doing it so much because of all the attacks and threats. This is why I have not been releasing things like this as much these days. It's not because product quality magically got better in the industry, I can tell you that much! Anyway, let's just get into it.
I woke up this morning ready to jump right into this pos…

Response from SAF:
"When a competitor tests your product you take it with a grain of salt. However, I did reach out to them and recieved zero response. He only "invited" Derek from MPMD to the lab for the publicity. But I doubt he even really invited him. He didn't reach out to any of the other brands. There was a couple hundred units of Ecdysterone (orange capsules) that were mislabeled at the plant as turkesterone (black capsules). We shipped out some of those bottles until a customer that ordered turk before said noticed the color change in capsules. We fixed that issue so I am willing to bet "IF" they truly did order our product that they were one of them. We contacted everyone we thought might have got one if the mislabeled bottles.
Here is the thing.
Ecdysterone costs about twice as much as Turkesterone raw powder. So why on earth a manufacturer would want to sell the more expensive raw materials for less I have no Idea. Turkesterone is darker than Ecdysterone. Below is a pic showing the difference.
The only way testing is valid is when someone orders and sends it straight to the lab from our wharehouse. That keeps the chain of custody in tact.
In his case he typed a bunch of fancy words, linked to a video not showing him testing anyone's products.
Supplement manufacturers are required to get COAs from the suppliers. This is how we prevent peo…

It's been a crazy few days, and I have not gotten around to replying to his email. So many people have come out of the woodwork to contact me. YouTubers, companies, customers of these brands. It's a lot to get through. He was asking for a lot of personal details from the order, too. So that was a bit weird. He did say they sent out a couple hundred bottles of mislabeled turkesterone that was actually beta ecdysterone, and that we might have gotten that. So he has admitted this is not out of the realm of possibility here... They already sent out mislabeled turk.
Also, me inviting Derek to our facility is a public comment that everyone can see...
Derek has already reached out to me to help him get the stuff figured out.
