Greens Powders

Original post in this thread

u/misteryouaresodumb I don’t think the possibility of a greens powder from ND/Natrium has ever been mentioned, but curious if this has been discussed at all? Have you used any of these products in the past? Would be interested to know how some of the leading brands test in terms of accuracy of ingredients given how many ingredients these often list. Thanks!

The issue with micronutrients are they compete with each other for absorption a lot of the time, and the form they are in matters a LOT. So I would want to split them up into groups that did not compete with each other, and have those doses happen at different times of the day.

Is that the case with good forms too? I thought if it's a (selfmade) mix of chelated minerals from albion and ND's sucrosomial formulations, then one can take them all at the same time without absorption issues.

Depends on the forms. It's very complex, but I will simplify it a bit. Traditional chelated forms are bound to amino acids. They will use the dipeptide transporters to absorb. There are a lot more of those than ionic transporters. So it will be harder to saturate them. Then you have non-traditional chelated forms like Magtein, where they are chelated to a sugar acid instead of an amino acid. Those will absorb through the glucose/sucrose transporters. Then you have forms like our Micromag and Microzinc. Those are encased by a sucrester, or sucrose ester. Those also absorb through the glucose/sucrose transporters. Those are harder to saturate and overwhelm, too. So a combo of bioavailability enhancement solutions will allow you to take a lot more things at the same time. You can have some ionic, some chelated to an amino acid, some encased by a sucrester, and some salts.

ND products testing positive for heavy metals

Jesus, dude... Google shit before you do stuff like this. You cannot use test strips to test for heavy metals content in supplements. They shouldn't even be used to test for heavy metals in water, or anything you are con

how legitimate is a 22 percent Eurycomanones in a tongkat ali supplement?

Replying to kusomisoyaranaika · I just called the company and spoke to the head chemist for over an hour. After telling her about all the information that I gathered from everyone here, and telling her that I wou

Eurypeptides are fake. They don't exist. Those numbers literally come from a single study that used the Lowry's total protein assay, which then they just take that total protein number and call it eurypeptides. For one,

Micromag: Caps vs Powder

The biggest advantage to our Micromag, in my opinion, is that a dose is a single capsule. Glycinate is two. L-threnoate is three. Even if you go with other vendors, you can't fit a whole dose of glycinate or threonate in

I’m having a little trouble finding information about the safety of sucrosomial magnesium. Could someone help me out?

It is magnesium oxide surrounded by a phospholipid encased by a sucrester. They are essentially fatty acid sucrose esters that act as emulsifiers, which bridge the gap between water and lipid stability. That is ideal for

anyone have trouble with the mag glycinate causing stomach issues and nausea? thought glycinate wasn’t supposed to cause these issues, but it kills my stomach

Some people are more sensitive to certain magnesium forms. Magnesium glycinate will absorb through the amino acid/peptide transporters in the GI tract, whereas magnesium L-threonate will use the GLUT transporters. This i

Lion's Mane: ND vs RealMushrooms

Replying to solothesensei · Mister, if you're willing to share: Does the adamantane moiety confer some of the benefits of adamantane itself? Similar to how magnesium glycinate confers the benefit of glycine?

Yes it does. It both positively affects the pharmacokinetics of the peptide itself, and has direct effects in the brain.
