Really interesting podcast here with Paul Stamets Mycologist, it covers really interesting topics like the neurogenesis effect of psilocybin, the benefits of lion mane, the untap potential of mushroom to help numerous illness. I really was blow away by everything he said, this guy claim that a mushroom trip cured is stutter, which by itself is really interesting nootropic wise.

Begging pardon for late reply - butting in, at that (how rude of me). But I appreciate your perspective - generally speaking.
More specifically, purpose beckons - per a thread in r/science - where I just posted a Stamets ref in a reply (to the top post):

May I highlight your perspective, as ties in (quote): "The whole thing is a massive scam" (agreed, 100% - or more).
"(S)ince he has been known to be litigious. I would be a lot more vocal about this shit if I did not have to worry about BS lawsuits... I am not going to be as vocal as I want about this ... I have enough fights to deal with already, without picking new ones."

This Wild Westernization of mycology and popular interest in mushrooms - is encountering zero resistance of any significant kind - no boundaries in any direction to place it in check (much less - jail).
On one hand, the scam is met and greeted with all hearty cheerleading and warm receptions - red carpet welcomes offering crass opportunities in shameless huma…

The truth always comes out eventually. When one is confident in the facts regarding their position, they need not be defensive, as the objective truth will eventually prevail if one maintains focus on shedding light on it. If the facts supported Paul Stamet's position, you would see him more than willing to intelligently discuss and debate the issue, not get defensive and counterattack. It's precisely because the facts prove his position incorrect that you see him act the way he does. Stick to the facts, and keep hammering them as much as you can. Ground up myceliated rice is not a mushroom, and never will be.
