Really interesting podcast here with Paul Stamets Mycologist, it covers really interesting topics like the neurogenesis effect of psilocybin, the benefits of lion mane, the untap potential of mushroom to help numerous illness. I really was blow away by everything he said, this guy claim that a mushroom trip cured is stutter, which by itself is really interesting nootropic wise.

Thanks for your response. I was wondering why I couldn't find lab results or much written about this outside reddit but it makes sense if he's been filing lawsuits around this.
They actually have liquid extracts on their site, I'm not sure if that's the same as what you mean by cultured extracts. I won't be buying any more of their products after the capsule dishonesty but I'm curious if those would in theory be better. Or would they mostly be rice juice?

Negative. Look at the ingredients.
myceliated brown rice
That's the same as their capsules, but in liquid form. The type of cultured extract I am referring to is something like the CS-4 product.

That uses a liquid culture of cordyceps sinensis grown in fermentation tanks. Then the mycelium is separated from the liquid and dried. That results in pure mycelium. If the argument was really about mycelium being better, then liquid fermentation of pure mycelium would be the thing to push, not ground up myceliated rice.
