Significant depression/anxiety from 7,8-dihydroxyflavone. High BDNF thoughts?

I'm seeing a significant ~"sinking" depression/anxiety with typical dosages of 7,8-dihydroxyflavone. This is counter to its intended purpose, but not out of the realm of rationality — we lust after BDNF promoting substances, but there is a line of inquiry suggesting high/up-regulated BDNF/TrkB (as well as low) is found in/contributes to depression (or in reality, it's just a lot more nuanced than just low/high). Problem is I've only really read one paper on the topic (https://www.nature.com/articles/4002075). I'm wondering if anyone has this as an area of interest/would like to expound?

Interesting. Just as well from my standpoint; I had wanted to obtain some 5,7,8-trihydroxyflavone regardless. Bit concerning re: labeling, though. Looks like BlueBrainBoost also sells it now with a third-party CoA from a reputable lab, so I assume theirs is likely real at least:

I just bought some from BBB. It should be here soon. I will run it through the lab.
Also, the Colmeric COA on their site is from May 2016. The Chinese COA they have as a picture on that page shows the current batch as October 2017. So either they have not tested the most recent batch, or they have not updated the Colmeric COA on the site. I bought the BBB jar I am going to test like 3 days ago, and they only showed 3 units left. Now they show more, and the picture is updated. So I may have gotten the old batch. I'll see what lot I got when it arrives.
