Absorb Health responds to criticisms

Hi,
My name is Joshua Fulton. I'm the owner and founder of Absorb Health. I've been here since day one when we started with virtually nothing to the point where we're at now where we have over 100 products, and ship out hundreds of orders a day from a 2400 sq ft warehouse.
Over the past 6 years, as I'm sure you can imagine, I've faced many obstacles. I've faced people threatening me on a regular basis because maybe they're disgruntled customers who claim you sold them rice and made a youtube video about it (yes, this really happened and it even got traction among some people), disgruntled former employees, hooded internet competition from all over the globe who threaten to "negative seo" your site out of the water, etc.
My attitude has been to keep my head down and focus on Absorb Health, focus on the positive and, within reason, ignore the negative and eventually the obstacles will be overcome and the time spent growing our company will be more valuable than engaging in petty wars among petty people. Incidentally, this applies to my personal life as well, as I simply focus on my family and my business, and hardly am ever on social media or message boards.
But our reputation h…

Joshua, I really wanted to let this post go, and just ignore it. I have so much on my plate right now. I just don't have time for BS like this anymore. However, you felt the need to keep bringing me up. So now I have to respond...
I am sick and tired of vendors doing things improperly, then lashing out at me instead of looking inward and getting their own houses in order. You have now admitted publicly that you do ZERO testing of any kind on your products. You seem to be content to trust your manufacturer's COAs without question, because "even Now Foods outsources a good part, if not all, of their work) is the norm." The funny thing is that NOW Foods is one of the big guys that actually has an in-house analytical lab. If you are going to give examples, at least do a little homework to make sure you are not making the opposite point of what you intended. Fact of the matter is that you do no testing of your products. You rely on your contract manufacturer to do that. Now, rather than looking inward at your suppliers and procedures, you feel the need to lash out at me, and act like this is a conspiracy meant to harm you. Your contract manufacturers and suppliers are cutting corners, and you need to get a handle on that immediately. Period. You not doing testing of your products to ensure things are correct is shameful.
Since we are sharing photos, and you seem to want to paint our operation in a bad light and call into question our testing, I'll share a few of our own photos:
Here is our HPLC. We even have a nice new column oven and auto-sampler in it now.
Here is our polarimeter. We are probably one of the only ones with this machine in-house. It's one of the only ways to measure the specific rotation of your amino acids.
Here is our automatic potentiometric titration machine and our pH meter.
Here is our automated melting point apparatus.
[Here are some various pics of our production building, lab, clean rooms, and temperature-controlled product storage.

Every room is positively pressured and HEPA filtered. All areas are kept cold 24/7 to ensure product stability. Every lab or production technician that enters the clean areas of the production building enter through gray rooms, then put on their protective equipment before entering the clean rooms. Every technician has a new lab coat for every day of the week, and we have an FDA approved company come weekly to take the soiled ones from the week, and replace them with new ones. We also have an FDA approved cleaning company do a deep clean of evry room every week, on top of our own internal daily cleaning processes. We have electronic tablets at each step in the production process, and electronically track every little thing that happens in the production environment. We even go above and beyond GMP. If we get 1,000kg of piracetam in, that usually comes in 40 separate drums on two pallets. Our quality control techs take a sample from each and every drum, and run them through the lab. Yes, every single container of every single product that enters our doors is tested separately. We catch a few bad ones here and there hidden in the whole batch. Sometimes it will be one or two drums out of a large shipment that we reject. You would never catch that without testing. You cannot just trust your suppliers. On top of that testing, we test a sample from every finished lot. So if we produce a lot of 750 jars of piracetam capsules, our QA/QC department picks one from the lot and tests it again in our lab. Only then will that lot be approved to be shrink-banded and taken to our fulfillment building. I took a look at the pictures on your contract manufacturer's site. I guarantee you that our facilities are light years ahead of theirs. Even so, we still use around 6 other analytical testing labs to help us with various analyses, since not everyone can specialize in everything, and every product needs drastically different methods and equipment to properly test. We are not just testing in-house. Even though we have a really advanced lab, there are still a lot of things we need other labs to handle. Those pictures are also just part of our 7,000 square foot production facility. We also have a 19,000 square foot fulfillment and administration facility. You took pictures of closets with cardboard boxes in them... I know you really want to point at us to distract people from your glaring issues, but I have my house in order. You clearly don't.
I'm going to split the rest of my response into another comment, due the Reddit's character limit.
