Bacopa seems controversial here...

Having taken Bacopa for a while, I am interested to see that many people experience drowsiness and loss of motivation...although it is recommended in the FAQ how likely is it that it is impacting my motivation?
I have been taking the Swanson stuff as recommended in the FAQ: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0017OAI8C/ref=s9_hps_bw_g121_i4
Thanks

But bacopa does ,as you said , by the time . So Modafinil doesn't increase the dopamine producation while Bacopa decrease so the result is dopamine decrease !! That's bad :(

Sure, after a while it might lower dopamine. However, you can always supplement for increased dopamine production. Bacopa just up-regulates tryptophan hydroxylase, which increases 5-HTP production. 5-HTP competes with L-DOPA for the same enzyme. So if you do not supplement L-Tyrosine, then it could lower dopamine over time, since you are saturating the enzyme with 5-HTP. Just supplement L-Tyrosine, and you should be fine.
