Ceretropic Not Secure?
Original post in this thread

Hello everyone,
I've ordered nootropics from ceretropic with great success in the past but a recent order didn't go through. Instead, someone tried to authorize a different amount of $ on my credit card in Shanghai (I'm in the US).
Has anyone had a similar experience? If not...beware in the meantime...

I'm strongly inclined to agree with /u/LeighmurBJJ in this regard. If you have suitable evidence and justification to make that kind of claim, then it wouldn't be an unreasonable one to make. A company that's attempting to suppress competition through these kinds of means is not a company that should be supported as they're likely to engage in equally damaging tactics with their consumers, especially if their competitors fold.
Public wars may be bad for the community, but at the very least I would implore you to suggest to the company that such tactics are pyrrhic at best. If they managed to kill Ceretropic, it would be poor for their business at best if it was discovered that they did so.
I mean, really. Trying to suppress a competitor through this kind of pressure is disgusting and you have nothing but my sympathy for the stress you must be going through.

Any escalation/public outing at this time will just make it harder for me to protect Ceretropic. You have to be pragmatic about things like this, and separate the emotional response from the logical. The best business decision at the moment is to call a truce, and focus my attention on the business. If further escalation happens on the part of anyone, then I would obviously have to respond. I am hoping that will not happen, though.
