Ceretropic Not Secure?
Original post in this thread

Hello everyone,
I've ordered nootropics from ceretropic with great success in the past but a recent order didn't go through. Instead, someone tried to authorize a different amount of $ on my credit card in Shanghai (I'm in the US).
Has anyone had a similar experience? If not...beware in the meantime...

Jesus Christ people, message me!
Not a customer, and not sure if you did this, but you should/should have let them know this was happening, not wait for them to inquire about it.

The automated emails were supposed to explain it properly, but they did not get done correctly. I have been trying to get it fixed, along with the description of the charge. It has just been hurdle after hurdle, and we have thousands of people making orders/emailing.
One of our competitors has been trying to get us shut down. They have been reporting us to everyone we do business with, and telling them we are selling illegal substances. That is why our old card processor shut us down. Our Ecommerce hosting tried to shut us down too, but I got lawyers involved, and squared that away. Our bank froze one of our accounts too. So I had to go get that taken care of as well. We are quite literally being attacked from all angles, and I am just trying to weather the storm at the moment.
We need to do a better job of explaining the situation to people, but we are stretched thin at the moment with everything going on. This is not a normal situation, and is far far from ideal. 5 days ago I was seriously considering the possibility that Ceretropic would have to be shut down. This temporary processor made it possible to bridge the gap, till our new US-based one goes live. Once that happens, we can get ordering back to normal, and have the process be smooth again for customers.
