Ceretropic Not Secure?
Original post in this thread

Hello everyone,
I've ordered nootropics from ceretropic with great success in the past but a recent order didn't go through. Instead, someone tried to authorize a different amount of $ on my credit card in Shanghai (I'm in the US).
Has anyone had a similar experience? If not...beware in the meantime...

Ceretropic has been struggling a lot finding a new, reliable card processor; they actually got ditched by their recent new one 2 days after they had worked out an arrangement with the processor.
Sounds like they've switched to an inferior, perhaps even sketchy, processor out of desperation while they continue to search for a better on-shore company that will accept their business without being a sissy bitch about the products they sell.
Still, it's very good you brought this to everyone's attention. If what you are seeing in the data is really occurring, I'm sure Ceretropic will be working hard to make it up to anyone inconvenienced or ripped off, whether it's their fault or not.
And for everyone impatiently waiting for /u/misteryouaresodumb to answer all of their questions and solve their problems, the man works 12-hour days 6 days a week, at least, and I'm sure this card-processing fiasco is testing his limits. I'm not saying these aren't real problems but he's probably trying to deal with it on the other end as best he can. I know the guy; he's a perfectionist who cares exorbitantly about his customers and other people in general, so I'm sure this whole situation is a nightmare for him.
