Am I risking seratonin symdrom?

What they were answering

I thinks there's a difference between regulating the sale of 5-htp like banning it and putting a warning on there. Like there has been talk of banning caffine powder which I don't agree with but think they should put a warning about how potent it is. I think most people who have overdosed on caffine thought it was the same as taking a caffine pill but they haven't considered binders etc

With 5-htp they just act like it's something you can take to help you sleep. I've seen people being given supplement advice by store employees in Holland an Barrat (uk chain supplement company) that know virtually nothing about why they're doing. So people end up taking something like 5-htp every night thinking it must be ok

The issue with that person that died from the caffeine overdose is, there were huge red warnings on the bag. It literally said they would die if they took more than recommended, and the guy still ignored it. Take a look at the lawsuit. Notice who the supplier is? I have been very informed about that case from day one.

The plaintiff lawyer is a hack and shyster. He just saw dollar signs when that kid died. The lawsuit actually says there should have been a skull and crossbones on the bag. That's the whole reason our Caffeine/NALT solution has those pineapple and apple skull and crossbones on them It's a joke regarding that case.

The people giving bad advice is a separate issue. Either the government cracks down, and regulates the supplement industry like the pharmaceutical industry, or they let people have the freedom to research and choose for themselves. It's not like the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry doesn't have people prescribing things without proper knowledge, or for the wrong reasons. It also has plenty of people overdosing, or finding out later the drugs caused more harm than good. It's going to happen no matter how regulated it gets.

People are always going to ignore warnings. Did you read the warning pamphlet on your last prescription, or did you just ask the pharmacist if you had questions? I certainly did not read the big-ass paper about all the interactions and warnings when I got my last one. If we started mandating specific statements on specific supplements, who decides what is said? Who is going to then patrol all the supplements out there, and fine the companies who don't have them? Who is going to pay for that new division of the already inefficient and wasteful government?

If we just got our heads out of our asses, and started treating substances we put into our body logically, rather than driven by fear, we could use education to fix these problems. We could have classes in high school where students learn basic nutrition and pharmacology. They could be taught how to research things, and what to look for. They could be taught that just because something is found in nature, does not make it safe. They could be taught that taking a spoonful of caffeine powder is a stupid thing to do. Then we would not have to try to regulate the hell out of things, just to prevent ignorance from causing harm.

I think regulations should be in place to prevent fraudulent claims, and things of that nature. However, I do not think we should try and mandate every little statement out there. I would personally put a warning on a jar of 5-HTP if I sold it, though.

Techniques for maintaining Caffeine effectiveness?

Replying to Anticode · I have 200-400mg a day. Sometimes on weekends I'll just have soda/coffee to prevent withdrawal.

Am I the only one that never gets caffeine withdrawal? I can take 800mg/day for weeks, then stop cold turkey and be fine. My girlfriend misses one morning without coffee, and gets headaches and bad mood.

Why do capsules always seem to be dosed to the max?

We offer noopept in 10mg and 30mg capsules. The sample pack is the 30mg, but that's the most commonly bought. The vast majority of people out there are getting the 30mg ones. 3mg is insanely low for most people. We can't
