A Note Regarding Ceretropic's Caffeine/NALT
Original post in this thread

There's been a lot of recent activity here regarding Ceretropic's new ionically bonded Caffeine/NALT solution. Specifically, whether the claims made about this solution are, in fact legitimate. I'd like to make a few comments, and requests:
As someone who has dealt with startups in the past and the patents surrounding them, I can assure you that the patent system isn't the most fun experience. However, it's necessary to protect IP and new methodologies so that someone's hard work isn't stolen and reimplemented by someone else in a week (for profit). Without this, there's no incentive to invent anything new -- just wait for someone else to invent something and steal their idea.
As someone who is part of this community and is looking to potentially ingest this product (correction: just ingested, mine came in a couple hours ago) it seems reasonable to request secondary, unbiased verifications of the claims made my /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb. Just as /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb requested (and eventually coordinated) product testings for some of True Life Research's (TLR) products, the community has the right to request product testings for Ceretropic's new products. However, given the above, I…

There are fanatics, though I don't think you're in any possible way to blame. Fanatics appear because you sell great products, conduct good business, and write a lot of good responds here on Reddit.
Every comment I have made during this weird issue is immediately downvoted. Then every comment after it, even in other unrelated threads is downvoted.
I think the idea that all your posts are immediately being downvoted is a little over-dramatic. From what I've seen, there's never been a time when one of your posts here has had 0, let alone negative, points.
Now any time someone states they like one of our products, or agrees with something I say, they are labeled as cult-like followers.
No, just the uninformed ignorant ones who idiotically come to your defense without understanding anything that's going on. Realize that there is a group of people on here that is much dumber than you, that read your posts put can't understand any of the technical aspects, and that view you as some sort of chemistry god. This is what happens when you generally conduct good business and make informative posts here on /r/nootropics, people look up to you and some of the dumb ignorant ones will begin to blindly follow you.
I'm going to be totally honest here; the overdramatic responses here are really starting to wear thin and definitely don't make me overly enthusiastic about buying from Cere…

Maybe there are. If they are acting inappropriately, they should stop. I do not condone anyone acting inappropriately. There are also people that genuinely dislike me as well. I think people see what they want to see. If people get annoyed with me or Ceretropic posts, they constantly look for things that would confirm their feelings. They don't get to see the PMs and emails telling me to go fuck myself, though. People make fake accounts and fake emails to send me those messages.
I've dealt with some crazy shit on the Modafinil side of things. People are hacking each others computers, releasing personal information to the police, and making threats of violence. The vendors that operate in that space have to deal with some cutthroat tactics. Fortunately I have only had to deal with the occasional shitty email/PM, a crazy customer saying we poisoned them with something, or fake reports to either discredit us, or try and get free shit. It's just part of business, I suppose.
If anyone is acting inappropriately in some sort of defense of Ceretropic, or me personally, they need to stop doing that. On the same token, people just need to stop acting inappropriately in general. People are too quick to jump on the praise or hate train, once it has been started.
