Selank's half life is complex, because it does not act like a regular drug. The half life of the full peptide is only about 10min. However, its effects last much longer, as do its metabolites. Also, the half life in blood does not correlate to the concentration in specific brain regions. Threonine-Lysine-Proline and Alanine-Proline are the two metabolites that last the longest in blood plasma.
