A Note Regarding Ceretropic's Caffeine/NALT

There's been a lot of recent activity here regarding Ceretropic's new ionically bonded Caffeine/NALT solution. Specifically, whether the claims made about this solution are, in fact legitimate. I'd like to make a few comments, and requests:
As someone who has dealt with startups in the past and the patents surrounding them, I can assure you that the patent system isn't the most fun experience. However, it's necessary to protect IP and new methodologies so that someone's hard work isn't stolen and reimplemented by someone else in a week (for profit). Without this, there's no incentive to invent anything new -- just wait for someone else to invent something and steal their idea.

I love the fact that there's so much hype about this Ceretropic product. It almost seems as if this could be a diabolical plan from MYASD himself to get more potential buyers. The new internet phenomenon! Headline on magazines, 'Is the Caffeine-NALT really ionically bonded? Scientists talk about quantum entanglement as proposed mechanism for its incredible effects! Customers ask: Is it really magic?'
Ever heard the expression? "Any fame is good fame"? I personally don't mind at all, I love ceretropic's products and I've had nothing but great discussions with /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb and can't wait to see what else they bring to the nootropic market. I honestly just find this whole drama hilarious.

Haha, I think there are a lot less stressful ways to promote a product. And judging by the sales figures for the past few days, not all press is good press...
