Low dose DXM as a nootropic?

I've been wondering about this for a while. I understand there are benefits and drawbacks to frequent DXM use including potential language issues and derealization. I've tried low dose before but not over an extended period of time but I did notice a large boost in mood and motivation. DXM is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor as well as a decent anti depressant but isn't very well understood obviously since studies on it are only primarily focused on it's anti-tussive properties.
Does anyone have any thoughts/experience with DXM as a noot?

Maybe not necessarily a nootropic but a focus/mood alternative to proven to be destructive drugs like amphetamine, which is often used in noot stacks.

It's pretty funny seeing all the hate for DXM here, but also seeing people down-vote those stating Amphetamine can be neurotoxic, or people perfectly happy speaking about long-term Memantine usage. Everything has it's risks vs. benefits. I think you brought up a perfectly acceptable discussion, and it's disconcerting seeing people down-vote blindly.
