Hell, I've worked with the ketone (9-fluorenone) in undergrad ochem lab.
I'd be interested in seeing where this goes, because the compound seems awful simple to be an effective, selective drug.

This is just our first analog. We have a couple more on the horizon, but lab issues increased the cost, and put delays on it. I do not think this is the end all and be all of the eugeroics. This is just step one. I am very curious how people are going to react.
