Converting Adrafinil to Modafinil?

Original post in this thread

MrDrugs · 5 points

This is obviously conducted in the body already, so is there some chemical process to go about it outside the body, leaving only the active metabolite and eliminating Adrafinil's harsh affects on the liver?
It would certainly reduce costs and make it much easier to import if it could be done.

There was a previous question posted here but it didn't seem to provide any conclusive answers:

Would you suggest using NAC "as needed"? ie before/after drinking, after taking adrafinil? I'm seeing dosages of about 200-400mg/day, does that match up with you've read?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · Ceretropic

Always take it before drinking alcohol, never after. That is unless you took some beforehand too. If you drink alcohol, then take NAC after drinking, it actually exacerbates the damage rather than mitigates it.

And yes, 200-400mg is a good dosage.

Anything is dangerous in too high of amounts. 100mg is not a smart dose, just like a gram of modafinil is not a smart dose. The same goes for caffeine and even water. That does not mean it is inherently dangerous. That j
