Converting Adrafinil to Modafinil?
Original post in this thread

This is obviously conducted in the body already, so is there some chemical process to go about it outside the body, leaving only the active metabolite and eliminating Adrafinil's harsh affects on the liver?
It would certainly reduce costs and make it much easier to import if it could be done.
There was a previous question posted here but it didn't seem to provide any conclusive answers:

So then in theory supplementing adrafinil with milk thistle isn't necessary and/or helpful?

Well I am not sold on milk thistle. It has not been shown to be effective in clinical trials.
N-acetylcysteine on the other hand is a great liver supplement. It really helps scavenge ROS. I think adding in NAC to your regimen is a good idea, especially if you drink alcohol.
So yes, adding in liver supplements can be beneficial regardless of adrafinil use. However, it is not necessary.
