How to take Ritalin correctly

That's true, it's difficult for some to keep their use in moderation. I've used Piracetam and Choline supplements in the past at varying dosages but I never noticed any effect on me. 20mg of Ritalin on the other hand and I'm in the zone.
I do notice though that after the effects wear off my drive to study drops even lower, so I don't plan on using for long. Just this last stretch before exams. Btw, I've only used it twice so far. Planning on a third and fourth as my last times.
Still, that's why I asked that earlier question. If I've already decided to take it, I wonder if it'd be productive or counteractive to take it during the exams itself...

Piracetam is fairly weak in relation to the newer nootropics. Noopept, oxiracetam, and pramiracetam all have very noticeable effects. I'd suggest trying those.
As far as whether it will be counterproductive for you to take before the exam, that's up to you to figure out. You know how it makes you feel better than I would. Perhaps you have lower dopamine levels, and it will help. I know if I were to take it before an exam, it would hurt my cognition. I would be fidgety and overstimulated. It might help me at like a very low dose like ~5mg. Any more and I would regret it.
