Obama didn't do anything in terms of the Iraq withdrawl that was the designated timetable signed by Bush. In fact Obama said he would withdraw troops within 16 months of being elected, didn't happen. SO, I'm not sure why people bring that up like its some sort of victory for Obama.

Ignorance I would say. The statute of forces agreement was signed by Bush. That agreement was what dictated our withdrawal from Iraq. Obama did nothing to modify it.

While I agree, the poverty line here in the US is slightly higher than many countries. I've seen things in Egypt, Mexico, India, Africa etc. that are on a whole other scale.
