InfiniFiber: Advanced Synbiotic Fiber by Nootropic Depot
InfiniFiber is officially available.
We engineered InfiniFiber as an advanced synbiotic, combining 11 distinct fibers with a spore-forming probiotic (LactoSpore®). Rather than a standard bulk supplement, we designed this formula specifically around fermentation kinetics.
By utilizing multiple fiber types with 5 different fermentation speeds, we're able to:
* Minimize GI Discomfort: Staggered fermentation rates mitigate the rapid gas production (bloating) common with standard fiber supplements.
* Maximize Microbial Support: Acts as targeted substrates to support 40+ beneficial microbial species throughout the entire digestive tract.
* Drive SCFA Production: Optimized to support the production of key short-chain fatty acids like propionate for metabolic health and satiety.
* Deliver Synbiotic Synergy: Pairs a precise balance of fermentable and non-fermentable fibers with highly stable LactoSpore® to ensure gastric survivability and efficacy.

Ok here's a question, other fiber supplements could impact absorption of other supplements. I make a morning smoothie with the black maca powder, infinigreens, etc. Would you recommend throwing the infinifiber in there?

Yes, you can put InfinFiber in your smoothie. You are correct in assuming that fiber supplements can impact the absorption of other nutrients. However, that is mostly things like psyllium, wheat bran, and other cereal fibers. Those can physically bind to minerals like iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium in the gut, reducing how much gets absorbed. The effect is real, but typically modest at dietary-range doses. Studies show mineral absorption is only noticeably impaired when fiber intake is extremely high (well beyond normal supplement doses), and much of the effect once attributed to fiber alone is actually due to co-occurring phytates in cereal-based fibers, not the fiber itself. So the phytic acid is more the issue. Also, gelling fibers like psyllium can physically slow absorption of things mixed within it; mostly fat soluble compounds. This is why balancing how much gelling is occurring, and where it is occurring in the GI tract, is key.
InfiniFiber is built around lower viscosity non-chelating fiber sources, so it will not have that effect. In fact, the PHGG in InfiniFiber actively promotes iron and mineral absorption, rather than inhibiting it. This means that not only is the combo not going to cause any issues, there is a synergy you get with the combo. We literally designed InfiniFiber to be combined with InfiniGreens, so you should definitely combine them together when you are taking them both!
