After a long 9 month development process, I am proud to announce that the new Nootropics Depot site is now live! We listened to a lot of feedback from customers, and went back to the drawing board. We have known for a while that we needed a change, but did not pull the trigger till now. Not only did we update the site design, but we used this as an opportunity to really take a look at what we were doing right and wrong. As part of this process, we completely revamped the way we talk about our products. We simplified our menu and category structures to make it easier to find products you might want. Long gone is the confusing web of categories we used to have. Now every product has a single primary use category, with the ability to check other filters on the results page. These primary use categories have their own easy-to-spot icons. Then each product also has 4 benefit tags, with corresponding icons of their own. This makes it much more clear for customers as to what the benefits of a product are. Also, each category page will show each of these 4 benefit icons ne…

Congratulations on the major revamp. Overall I love the categorical search functions for various focuses (energy, mood, cardiovascular, etc).
One thing to note, when I go down the "energy" pathway it shows two results for Mushroom Matcha (44.99 & 64.99) with no seemingly obvious difference between the two results. AS a former UX designer, I'd invite you to consider addressing this in two possible ways
1. Including ONLY one variant (smallest size) in the search results, when people click on the product page link, they will be shown the various sizes.
2. Including both results, but showing the differentiating factor (Size, powder vs pills, etc) on the search results page.
Both of these options would offer a better user experience, and allow the customer to make a more informed decision quicker.
Cheers to you and your continued growth! :)

According to Andrew Cutler (biochemist and author of "The Mercury Detoxification Manual: A Guide to Mercury Chelation" - https://a.co/d/7uq2jQN) It has…

I think you are seeing the regular and latte versions. The sizes don't show up separately in search. We just have latte versions of the Mushroom Magic drinks for the matcha, coffee, and matcha baller. That makes a bunch show up.

I'll bring it up with the team, and see how best to address that.
