After a long 9 month development process, I am proud to announce that the new Nootropics Depot site is now live! We listened to a lot of feedback from customers, and went back to the drawing board. We have known for a while that we needed a change, but did not pull the trigger till now. Not only did we update the site design, but we used this as an opportunity to really take a look at what we were doing right and wrong. As part of this process, we completely revamped the way we talk about our products. We simplified our menu and category structures to make it easier to find products you might want. Long gone is the confusing web of categories we used to have. Now every product has a single primary use category, with the ability to check other filters on the results page. These primary use categories have their own easy-to-spot icons. Then each product also has 4 benefit tags, with corresponding icons of their own. This makes it much more clear for customers as to what the benefits of a product are. Also, each category page will show each of these 4 benefit icons ne…

Since you are open to feedback, there is one thing I noticed that would be beneficial to at least me. On the old site, I believe you used to be able to either click on photos to enlarge or zoom in on them. Now you can’t do either.
This isn’t such a bug deal for many products where you post an image of just the back label with the dosage and such. For some products, such as Clarimag, it would be very useful - since there are several ingredients and only a photo of the back of the bottle.
I wanted to zoom in to better view the dosages, which I don’t believe are posted elsewhere, but had trouble doing so. I ended up having to scroll down to the text, pinch zoom in my phone, then scroll back up. It was unnecessarily cumbersome. For what it’s worth, I’m working on an iPhone 14, latest iOS, browsing on safari.
Another option could also be to ensure each product has a closer photo of the back label to see the ingredients easier.

Wait, it's not zooming for you? I just tried it on desktop, and it zoomed for me. It was hover zooming by default, which everyone hated, so we took that away. However, click to zoom is still on there. Or are you talking specifically about mobile?
We are also starting to do a new Supplement Facts image, to make it easier to see everything at a glance. The Berbelean listing is a good example of it.
