The New Nootropics Depot Is Now Live!

After a long 9 month development process, I am proud to announce that the new Nootropics Depot site is now live! We listened to a lot of feedback from customers, and went back to the drawing board. We have known for a while that we needed a change, but did not pull the trigger till now. Not only did we update the site design, but we used this as an opportunity to really take a look at what we were doing right and wrong. As part of this process, we completely revamped the way we talk about our products. We simplified our menu and category structures to make it easier to find products you might want. Long gone is the confusing web of categories we used to have. Now every product has a single primary use category, with the ability to check other filters on the results page. These primary use categories have their own easy-to-spot icons. Then each product also has 4 benefit tags, with corresponding icons of their own. We have more we are doing in phase 2. I think we just became a much bigger project than our developer predicted, and we needed to get phase 1 launched. It's literally been going on for 9 months, with work happening constantly throughout. We had to completely rethink how we conveyed information on products, build the back end systems to be able to keep track of all that new data, and then be able to integrate that new back end into the new shell built around Bigcommerce. We really did a ton of work getting this all together, and I think our developers underbid the project for how complex it became. So we have some things that are going into phase 2 that we will be working on now.
