After a long 9 month development process, I am proud to announce that the new Nootropics Depot site is now live! We listened to a lot of feedback from customers, and went back to the drawing board. We have known for a while that we needed a change, but did not pull the trigger till now. Not only did we update the site design, but we used this as an opportunity to really take a look at what we were doing right and wrong. As part of this process, we completely revamped the way we talk about our products. We simplified our menu and category structures to make it easier to find products you might want. Long gone is the confusing web of categories we used to have. Now every product has a single primary use category, with the ability to check other filters on the results page. 100% agreed. All of this feedback is on mobile btw. Although now that I pull up your site on desktop, it still seems that each product in my cart, the suggestions, fonts are all too large, and I definitely think cart suggestions should be below the actual cart. Or smaller so they are less of the main focus.
If I pull up Thorne's desktop side by side, their cart list will fit two items in the space one of your cart items fits into. Their font for product names is probably half the size and not bolded.
They're not the end all be all, but their ecommerce experience looks pretty good. Worth referencing!

I think cart suggestions can be on top on desktop, because there is more screen space. However, I do agree that smaller would make sense. I went to Thorne's site to see, and I am not getting cart suggestions. Is it only on certain products?

I 100% agree. I want things to be smaller on our design, too. I hate when fonts or elements are too large.
