I just read (please don't blame me... ) in wikipedia that "5-HT2B receptor \[...\] cause long-term problems with heart function that can prove fatal". Is this related somehow in some way to 5-HT2A?
I don't understand pharmacology at all so maybe (probably) I'm saying a stupid thing. I'm sure that this is something obviously known by ND but I wanted to ask anyway.

5-HT2A and 5-HT2B are different receptors, so no issue there. Also, the heart issues are for full agonists of the 5-HT2B receptor. Ebelin lactone is a positive allosteric modulator of the 5-HT2A receptor.
