I can absolutely attest to that, though I feel the aggression/edginess passes very quickly after initial onset, while the positive effects last.
My other problem is that cistanche makes me very hungry, though. Tongkat in isolation does not do that at all.
I think you mentioned this could be ghrelin related?
Is there anything from your roster of products that you could recommend to counter this hunger-effect?

Hunger is usually from a ghrelin response. Taking hesperidin, EGCG and berberine can help. Also, things that increase serotonin half with hunger pangs. A product we are releasing this upcoming Thursday has appetite suppressing effects, based on that serotonin mechanism. That might be one for you!

Hesperetin and hesperidin can stimulate the release of cholecystokinin(CCK), an appetite-regulating hormone, in enteroendocrine STC-1 cells, which is ultimately used to treat obesity by suppressing appetite.

Our data showed that carriers of the berberine-treated mice were more responsive to weight loss in the regulation of abdominal fat distribution, thus raising the question of the mechanism by which berberine affects appetite. One possibility may be via the neuronal system, and this is supported by a recent study demonstrating that berberine improved lipid dysregulation in obesity by controlling the central obesity-related pathway.
Although berberine cannot easily pass the blood-brain barrier, studies have shown that acute administration of berberine intraperitoneally or orally results in an increase of the serotonin level in the brain [33, 34]. Brain serotonin inhibits food intake, while depletion of brain serotonin promotes hyperphagia and weight gain [35].
