With the berberine tablets not being diversible, what was the reason for switching from capsules to tablets a while ago anyway? Seeing that this has made them out of stock for so long.

Well we would have had them in stock a month ago as coated tablets. However, our tablet partner that made them contaminated the entire quarter million tablet batch with black mold... So we got totally fucked by them and are still fighting them on it. We paid for the raw material, tested it, approved it, sent it to them, paid them to put it into tablets and coat it, and then lost the whole batch anyway. So double fucked. When that happened, I decided to start offering it in capsules. The issue is space. We needed a new batch of 90% silymarin to be able to fit the dosages in a 00 capsule, as our normal 40% would take up too much space to fit in a 00. So we had to get a batch of that in, test it, then formulate the capsule run for our machines. Berberine is a pain in the ass to work with. The crystalline batches won't run on encapsulation equipment. It just doesn't work. So we needed a new batch of berberine that was granulated. That took time to get in and approved. Things sound easy on the outside, but actually making them happen up to our standards is something else. It always takes way more time and work to get done than it would seem to from the outside.
