Interesting that you found the polyphenols to be contributing more to the effects of Celastrus than the alkaloids. Also that on the product page it's mentioned that some of the effects become more pronounced over time. That's pretty incredible considering mainstream sources seem to attribute most of its benefits to it being cholinergic.

Initially thought of cycling it something like 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, but maybe i'll just try pairing it with Bacopa or Polygala daily for 4-5 months.

Well the polyphenols are probably contributing to the mood effects. The alkaloids are likely the memory side. I wish we could do a total alkaloid method, but it is not as easy as the total polyphenol one we developed. You almost have to specifically look at each alkaloid individually, and those chromatographic methods are not always conducive to separating alkaloids together, as that class of compound varies a lot more than polyphenols structurally. It makes the chemistry a lot tougher. We are not done on our Celastrus mission, though. This is just the start. We hope to flesh out the chemistry even more, and then possibly use that to create other extracts targeted at specific mechanisms.
