Interesting, I kinda just assumed that taking tongkat and panax in the same day would just be contradictory wrt cortisol. I've been getting good effects with taking tongkat 2% + cistanche half the week and panax the other half, but now I want to try them together in the same day.
BTW, what did you end up concluding with your experiment with stacking tongkat with iodine? I tried it myself and it only made a small difference; however, adding in copper really kicked up the effects of tongkat for me, better libido and eliminated the drowsiness. After a while of trying different combinations of the 3 on and off, I'm feeling pretty confident that the copper is making the difference. Since copper is similarly important for thyroid function as iodine is, it might ultimately be helpful via the same underlying MOA, and perhaps my body just didn't need the extra iodine as much as it needed copper.

Normally I don't combine them. I am just very stimulated right now because my larger stack. I stopped taking quercetin, hesperidin, and berberine to cycle off for a bit, but then I got a bit concerned with the BA.2 variant popping up, so I went back on. Those three in combo with the rest of my stack makes me much more stimulated by default, and I need to balance it out a bit to stay calm.
The iodine experiment wasn't super strong for me. I could feel it slightly, but not enough to really say it was a game changer. That's cool to hear about the copper! I will have to try that one out. Copper is a tough one to keep balanced sometimes. Maybe I will find strong effects with the copper added in. Thanks for the tip!
