Really want to try andrographis but I keep reading about bad reactions from it. Is it safe? Anyone have any negative experiences.

Any thoughts on my mind chatter?
I know they talk a good game, but does Nootropics Depot really test every lot? I hope so as I am using alot of their products. Why don't they have manufacturing or best by dates on the bottles?. Is the new NMN they sell real? Who makes it for them? Too many unknowns to trust this second party distributor.
They are really just a tester of lots they purchase from who knows where. This is common among big brands as well. I would have to buy Nootropics from them but will probably stay away from their other supplements. I can't wait until spectroscopy becomes affordable to the masses along with other analysis tools.

Yes, and we have since I started the company 9 years ago. That's the entire reason I got into this industry. Any company not testing every single lot is putting their customers at risk, and unfortunately that's the majority of brands out there. We also don't just test every lot. We go so far above and beyond the standard that it is insane. We test every batch of raw material that enters our facility. We test every lot of in-process capsules and tablets, to ensure the formulation and manufacturing is resulting in our targets. Then we test every finished lot of product to ensure it meets specs. We do more lab testing than 99% of the companies in this industry. To say we are testing ever batch doesn't even begin to scratch the surface.
Why don't they have manufacturing or best by dates on the bottles?
Because everyone else is just violating FDA guidelines and randomly putting 2 years from the date of manufacture on their bottles. The FDA guidelines state that if you put an expiration date on your products, you have to have validated stability data to prove those numbers are accurate. If you have not run a full stability study in the lab, you are instructed to not put expiration dates on products. The fact that everyone just violates that regulation doesn't make it right. We follow the regulations to the letter. The production date of the lot is the last 6 digits of the lot number, though. That tells you when it was made. It's MMDDYY.
Is the new NMN they sell real?
Yes, as is everything we sell. We go to great lengths to prove that in the lab using validated and accurate scientific methods.
Who makes it for them?
We have a partner lab that synthesizes it for us, just like we do with everything else. The fact that you are asking this question leads me to believe you are listening to one of our direct competitors that keeps bringing up their supplier. For one, that supplier they use is nothing special. The whole story about them being the one that supplies MIT is just dumb. Spoiler alert, Chinese labs lie all the time. Two, the lab this competitor uses to test their products is a garbage lab. We have caught them using shitty chemistry and fudging the numbers multiple times, which is why we won't use that lab anymore. That's a common theme with many of our competitors. The labs they use are using shitty unvalidated chemistry at best, and are completely fraudulent at worst. We have caught multiple dry labs now. They literally just fabricate results for companies to give them a COA to show people. It's a massive issue in this industry.

You have no idea how this industry works. Not a single retail brand is synthesizing their own chemicals. They have contract labs that do that. Just like construction companies are not making their own steel beams and mining their own rock to make their own concrete. They have suppliers that specialize in that. If you are looking for a retail brand that literally synthesizes all their own stuff, in addition to doing all the other steps needed to create a final product, you will be looking for a long time. Most brands don't do proper testing in outside labs, much less have their own ISO 17025 accredited lab. We do. All of these other brands trying to call us out, when they have not built even a quarter of the capabilities we have in-house, is just laughable to me. Also, spectroscopy is affordable to the masses. You can buy a cheap FTIR or UV-VIS and test things if you want. People underestimate the complexity of properly lab testing things, though. Getting a spectrum of a product can only show you a small part of what makes a product correct and pure. You need orthogonal techniques to get a full picture, and validation of the chemistry to prove it is telling you what you actually think it is. This is what we do in our lab every day. We will never sell something that has not been completely tested and validated in our ISO 17025 accredited lab. Our products will always be exactly as we claim them to be. Period.
