Why would you want a powder when you sell an enteric coated pill already? Isn't the powder going to be less effective? Are the capsules enteric coated as well?

Yes, the powder will be less effective. However, some people have issues with the enteric coating, and others have too strong of effects and want to dose lower. We are giving people more choice. The enteric coated tablets are not going anywhere, and those will still be the most effective form. However, giving customers more options is always a good thing, as everyone is different. One size does not fit all.

The capsules are not enteric coated. We've done a lot of dissolution testing of capsules on the market claiming to be enteric, and they are all just lying. Every single capsule that has claimed to be enteric on the market has fully dissolved in 30-45min in simulated gastric fluid. They need to stay intact for 4 hours in gastric fluid, then dissolve quickly once they reach the neutral pH of the small intestine. Enteric capsules do exist, but the company that makes them won't sell to the supplement industry. They will only sell to you if you have a pharmaceutical manufacturing license. It's something to do with one of the ingredients used in the capsule shell. We'll keep working on possible solutions to enteric capsules, but they have to actually be enteric for us to use them.

Regarding stability, the synthesis route for NMN was changed. This has resulted in a more stable end product that does not need to be kept at low temperatures. There was something to do with the crystal structure of the NMN under the old synthesis that made it more susceptible to degradation. We've done a bunch of testing on the new batches, and they are stable at room temperature. This not only makes it easier from a production standpoint, but also makes it possible to sell in powder form.

When will NMN be back in stock?

They will be back up by the end of the week. It's been a hell of a time getting these back in stock. In case you are not aware, the company that used to do the enteric coatings for us went out of business because of COVI

Enteric NMN with OptiNAD?

Yes, many people do that. The enteric really makes a difference with NMN. In our OptiNAD+ we use acid resistant capsules, but they don't last nearly as long as our enteric tablets do in stomach acid. We are still trying

Why is NDs NMN dosage size only 125mg when typical dosage amount should be 8x that (according to DSs recommendation)?

David Sinclair is talking about normal NMN powder. He also says wrong shit all the time. He's also trying to get NMN disallowed as a supplement, so he can sell it as a drug through his company. I think everyone should st
