I feel like I should be discussing this on r/tinnitus but here goes anyway, have you looked into any current treatment?, or ways to manage the T?, or do you feel you can manage it without any help?, I know it's been 8years now for you, and I've lost count myself I only remember the month (March) when I first got tinnitus I was also near loud music ( directly under the speakers ) as they was mounted on the roof facing down.
a few days passed and then when I woke up and suddenly it was there, took a few days to 'adjust' to it being there and sometimes flares up for what seems like no reason..Then goes back to baseline
I was also very conscious about loud music after the fact, I looked up various decibel levels and the length of time needed to cause further damage, because your ears adjust to the music so it doesn't sound as loud as it did when you first hear it. so every time I went out again I would time how long I was exposed to the loud music then go outside for a while rinse and repeat lol
Did you experience anything like this in your early days of Tinnitus??
Thanks! :D

I actually lost 90% of my hearing in one ear for a while. It was pretty scary. It came back to relatively normal after taking a bunch of nootropics, but the tinnitus is a harder one to tackle. I think P21 and Semax helped a lot in regaining the hearing to relatively normal levels. I manage it fairly well, though. Most of the time I don't notice it. Then sometimes either it flairs up, or something reminds me that I have ringing in my ears. Then I have to forget about it again. LOL.
I am very sensitive to loud noises in that ear now as well. This is especially true for certain frequencies. I get a painful flutter in it when I hear loud noises in the upper mid range of the frequencies. If I go see live music these days, I always take my high fidelity ear plugs. I should have back then, to be honest. However, I was younger and dumber. I didn't treat my hearing with the respect it probably should have been given. Ohh well, can't go back!
