Have you looked at the Dreem 2 sleep tracker? It's the closest thing to a sleep study in a hospital and is pretty much as accurate as a sleep study, having in mind that sleeping in a hospital, hooked with dozens of cables is not really measuring your sleep quality in the best way. Dreem 2 even uses white noise auditory stimulation to improve memory consolidation - there are a few papers showing that it works. This is probably the most comprehensive review of Dreem and Oura ring - you may skip the first part about the writer's sleep troubles - https://medium.com/@tombarys/dreaming-about-better-sleep-dreem-oura-and-the-rest-fb29c99f0aad

No, that's really cool! I'll probably pick one up to test out. I like the full EEG and feedback properties. I don't give a shit how dumb I look when I am sleeping. LOL
I will say that article overstates the inaccuracies of the Oura, at least the current releases of the software. I've found it very accurate. It always knows when I get to sleep and wake up. It always shows when I wake up at night. The only thing is that it can sometimes get confused if I stay up late laying on the couch. It can think I went to bed when I hadn't yet. However, that's VERY rare, and the software allows me to correct it in the morning. I just drag the bed time later to correct it. Now that I think of it, since doing that a few times it hasn't really been wrong since. So it probably learned my habits. It sees me laying on the couch watching a movie and gives me a notification to get up a stretch my legs rather than thinking I am sleeping. I am curious to wear both the Dreem 2 and the Oura and see how they compare over the night in data.
