Arent you using nano particles silicon dioxide which isnt same as in food?

Nanoparticles? No, we use macro sized particles of SiO2 in the encapsulation process. The things you linked are talking about particles sizes less than 100 nm. Those are very very small particles. So that would be like micronized SiO2. We don't use micronized silicon dioxide. Also, you have to think about dosages. The study you linked is talking about regular foods, where the dose of SiO2 is insanely higher than what you would get in a dose of our capsules. The dose they say is a safety concern is 21mg/kg per day. So for me that would be 1.7 GRAMS of silicon dioxide. That's an insane amount.
If you read the full EFSA report you can see they found no toxicity at any exposure limit. However, they are saying they should reevaluate their "not specified" acceptable daily intake limits, and include parameters for particle size it that. That seems reasonable, but in no way raises any concern to me in supplements. In foods, where a lot more silicon dioxide nanoparticles could be present in higher amounts with much much higher daily intake amounts, maybe. Think of flour, for instance. The max percent allowed in foods is 2%. Think of how much 2% of the weigh of the flour used in bread is. You're using hundreds or thousands of grams of flour to make bread. It's a whole different story at those amounts than a few milligrams in a supplement capsule.
