That’s fascinating! I’m currently using a Biostrap (previously done polysomnography) and have a similar issue. My condition isn’t quite near as severe but I’m also sleeping extremely light and have tons of waking episodes.
Has the increase in deep sleep correlated with stronger feelings of wakefulness and wellbeing? I’ve used phenibut/baclofen occasionally to increase deep sleep and rem but it doesn’t correlate to me feeling better. I assume this is due to it changing sleep architecture but I’m not sure. My doctor wants me to try Ambien next but I’ve heard too many horror stories. I’m definitely trying this stuff first!
Did you notice a significant difference when using DSIP in the past?

Yes, I feel much more rested on days when my deep sleep is at a reasonable level. I can absolutely feel it on days that I get little or no deep sleep. I've also found that alcohol destroys my sleep quality like no other. If I take Alcohol Defense and Sleep Support on days that I drink, I get much better sleep. It's still not like days when I don't drink alcohol, though. It's just reasonable as opposed to completely destroyed. Eliminating alcohol altogether is the only way I can get a really good nights sleep.
I have not tried DSIP since I got my Oura ring. I will have to try it. I did feel like I slept better on it. Also, DSIP's effects on opioid tolerance is a really cool effect, too.
