Absorption of calcium and magnesium taken simultaneously?

I know that calcium and magnesium compete for absorption and that it's best to spread them out.
However, it's still super convenient to put a bunch of magnesium in my dairy-based smoothie. So I consume magnesium and calcium together in every sip. The amount of magnesium in my smoothies is roughly equal to the amount of calcium.
Is it reasonable to assume that I absorb approx half of the magnesium that I would if I took without calcium?

Oh damn that sounds awesome, thanks! Is this what you're referring to? ND is awesome, by the way, if you mean that you work there!

This form of magnesium is completely new to me... do you know any of the backstory behind it? I'm mostly curious if it's been proven safe.

We worked with the patent holder in Italy to get it made and bring it out here.
I wrote a pretty good explanation here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NootropicsDepot/comments/c9o9f5/im_having_a_little_trouble_finding_information/et7al77/
