Follow-Up Thread: My Experience With Epitalon

I wanted to go ahead and post a thread for the continued discussion of multiple comment trees in the recently-archived "My Experience With Epitalon" thread started by /u/telomerotica.
A quick iteration of the topics still under discussion:
* Without doubt the most interesting detail from the original thread is telomerotica's use of a telomere length test conducted by the company Titanovo, which he had used to evaluate his undergoing 5 different cycles of different types of Epitalon. His results came back saying he had the telomeres of a 10-year-old.
* /u/Telomerotica has plans to get another, follow-up test from Titanovo in order to confirm the accuracy of their results. Link.
* /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb had Titanovo tests conducted on him and a few of his employees and is currently awaiting results. One of the employees smokes and the other does not, so it will be a very interesting comparison. Link.
Also, the thread…

So, did you ever corroborate your original, concerning findings with another testing service?
Also, the TB-500/BPC-157 worked great. My back complains less than it did before I injured it!

I did a Teloyears test recently. It's a blood test instead of a saliva test. I should have my results in the next couple weeks. I did kind of mess with the usefulness of the comparison, though. I did an Epitalon/Thymalin cycle before I did the new test. My short-ass telomeres freaked me out, and I wanted to start a cycle ASAP. So we won't be able to use the blood testing result as an indication of the accuracy of the Titanova test. I'll see what my results are for the Teloyears test, then probably do another couple cycles. Then I'll do another blood test 6-8 months from now.
I honestly think my histamine disorder is directly linked to my telomere results. After a couple days on my Epitalon/Thymalin cycle, I started getting VERY itchy. Even weeks later, I am still itchy as hell. My normal regimens for keeping it at bay are barely working. It all started with my cycle. We know that aging is associated with a 2-4x increase in inflammatory mediators and cytokines. We also know that chronic inflammation can speed up aging and tissue degeneration. I've also found studies that show telomerase activity is modulated by compounds released from mast cells, like Protein Kinase Cα. In addition, I've found that some mast cells control the release of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and nerve growth factor (NGF). This could be a link to my cognitive changes that happened around the time of my mast cell disorder appearing. It's all making a bit more sense to me now. I've even found a few studies that show mast cell numbers increase with aging! Mast cells could be a massive cause behind the deleterious effects of aging!
Glad to hear about the good results from the TB-500 and BPC-157! They are amazing peptides.
