Follow-Up Thread: My Experience With Epitalon

Original post in this thread

I wanted to go ahead and post a thread for the continued discussion of multiple comment trees in the recently-archived "My Experience With Epitalon" thread started by /u/telomerotica.

A quick iteration of the topics still under discussion:

* Without doubt the most interesting detail from the original thread is telomerotica's use of a telomere length test conducted by the company Titanovo, which he had used to evaluate his undergoing 5 different cycles of different types of Epitalon. His results came back saying he had the telomeres of a 10-year-old.
* /u/Telomerotica has plans to get another, follow-up test from Titanovo in order to confirm the accuracy of their results. Link.
* /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb had Titanovo tests conducted on him and a few of his employees and is currently awaiting results. One of the employees smokes and the other does not, so it will be a very interesting comparison. Link.

My length is at .41

Is it a 0-1 scale?

How much do we actually know about telomeres? Is the length rating an average of the lengths of telomeres in all sorts of cells? I mean, it's clear that there can be broad variance in the amount of transcription that has to occur in a particular cell. I would imagine that telomere length is different depending on where you are in the body. Is it just a saliva test, skin test?

Sorry to hear that, though. It does sound like you have a stressful job, and the histamine disorder might be increasing DNA turnover due to immune response.

But, you've also experimented with a lot of research chemicals. I can't help but wonder what the long-term effects will be for me, too. Hell, I'd like to get to the bottom of the implications of being given amphetamines from the age of 6 to the end of high school. I doubt it's good.

Also, a random question I needed to ask you: I seem to be having issues with my lumbar vertebrae. Would GHK-Cu be helpful in that scenario? I wouldn't want to end up with a herniated disc in several years.

I should be at .75 for my age. My current length is more indicative of a 90-100 year old man. Not good.

It's a saliva test. There could be variability, I suppose. Also, it has got me thinking about the long-term effects of my cetirizine use... Perhaps there is something we don't know about it, and it is causing me unintended DNA turnover. It could be the histamine as well. It's hard to say without more data. I wish I had data from when I was younger to compare to. I can only make changes and see how that affects my telomeres going forward.

For issues with a lumbar vertebrae, I would probably not look to GHK-Cu. BPC-157 and TB-500 would be the ones I would gravitate towards for that purpose.
